The Word of God being sown in my life has totally transformed me into a new person. As the Word was sown into my life through different vessels it seems to reveal more and more areas in my life that I needed to line up with God’s Word. The Word revealed to me many areas of my life that I was operating in fear my whole life. Though it was a battle as I began to read more of the word on God’s love and care for us and heard powerful preaching at the River church, freedom came to me. I was not only able to be more effective for God in preaching the Gospel but I became free from all fears. I now can say I truly trust God to deliver me from anything that comes my way because he is faithful to perform his word and God cannot fail. As I read more and more I see different areas of my life line up with the will of God. My family notices the change and now sees me as a man of God. Even at work where I was once known as a sinner but now I’m seen as a Godly person. The Word being sown into my heart has also helped me to make soul winning a lifestyle as I began to see the purpose of the church and believers in Christ Jesus. I am also working on becoming the best husband I can be as a result of the Word being sown into my life. As I begin to get in the Word and act upon it my life and everyone around me has been changed.  I’ve even seen my brother, sisters, and cousins come to Christ as a result of me acting on the Word of God. I am new man today because of the Word of God. I’m happy to say I am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus.

One year ago if you had told me that I would be in River Bible Institute, I would have wondered what you had been smoking, but here I am. My wife and I watched “The Great Awakening” many nights over the last year and decided to stop on our way to south Florida where we have spent our winters since 1992. We came to the winter camp meeting where we spent 7 wonderful spirit filled days and nights.

We are still here.

We have known of The River Church for many years for we see it every time we go home to Michigan when we travel on I75 north bound. I saw Pastor Rodney on TV when he was at ORU and the memory of what he did burned permanently in to my memory.

My wife was moved to go to the altar and from there she ended up in the River Bible Institute room and before she knew it she had enrolled us in the River Bible Institute. You must understand she was being led by God. After being told this I said “you did what?” But the more I thought about it the more God worked on me and the more I liked the idea.

Staying here would mean no fishing (for fish) I thought.  But now I get to do fishing for God’s lost children and there are many more opportunities and wonderful teachers to hone your skills. The feeling you get when you see a lost child of God accept Christ is indescribable and there is no limit to the number you can catch. We also have the best bait; Gods Salvation, the Holy Ghost, peace of mind and the Love of Jesus

I am so glad to be here in the school. It is getting even better. Until I came to Tampa, I felt almost like a Muslim-Christian. Just lately I have been feeling the freedom and flow of the Spirit. Even after finishing the first year of school. I guess it takes a while to be detoxed spiritually! Pretty much up to that time I was religious and doctrineted properly. Even after the first year I was still not very open to the flow and the move of God.

Over the summer break and God’s continuous work in my heart I came hungry and thirsty for this school year. Especially the first week of school was awesome. Even the introduction of pastors was enough to smack me!

We moved Tampa to basically to come to school. There is not any reason for us to live here other than the River really. But after being here it is more than enough reason to stay here! I often feel like about the school and church that i have found a treasure chest and want to share with everyone. We are telling our loved ones to come and even just sit under this ministry for a week and see what we are talking about. It is so precious to me. I thank God for such man and women of God and their impact in our lives. Not only by teaching in the class but every way they live and conduct their lives. I have lot to learn from them. Thank God that he kept them for such a time like this and for us.

Rodney Howard Browne – I am so excited to see and receive what God has for me this year. i go to school with expectation every day. He has still a lot of work to do in me. You never know what will take place that day. Even just last thursday the Spirit of giving broke out and everyone was obedient to God. Some people even broke their alabaster box. I am looking forward to see might things happen this year in students life…..Hicran M.

Rodney Howard Browne tells us that the Lord has been trying to get me to get off of food stamps for a couple months. In my mind I just didn’t see how that was possible as a single mother with 3 kids and no job yet. Great Awakening Tours on Thursday September 8th The Lord asked me again and I filled out the offering envelope but when the bucket passed I didn’t put it in. Rodney Howard Browne says instead I went to bathroom. I started crying uncontrollably and felt horrible inside. So I said ok Lord. I returned to my seat and took the envelope with the food stamp card to the alter. The next day I made the last can of tuna in the house for the kids to have for lunch and I thought Lord I’m not going to worry about it. Rodney Howard Brown tells us that after class I was asking security what I had to do to get a food box as a student walked up and said I have a whole bunch of food to donate where can I take it. She blessed me with groceries! Meat, fruit, veggies, non-perishables, milk the whole 9 yards!!!

Great Awakening Tours shows that a friend was a Jehovah witness who use to think our church was from the devil lol. Until a few weeks ago when he started coming answered an alter call and asked for the baptism of the Holy Ghost! Just this pass Friday I also prayed with his sister who was also a Jehovah witness and she accepted Jesus. My youngest sister and my brother have been born again and have attended church. My family sees a difference in me and I myself notice a change, which is refreshingly surprisingly great! My children (ages 2 –9) are spirit filled and pray everyday on their own! Rodney Howard Brown says that they even pray for me! I know this is only the beginning for I serve the great I AM….Kimberly R.

Rodney Howard Browne teaches us that the past couple months God has changed my life, DRAMATICALLY. I went on a mission’s trip to Honduras fully expecting to come home and move to Pennsylvania for college. While I was in Honduras I knew that God had called me to the mission field. I did not know exactly where, but I wanted to know. Great Awakening Tours says that I wanted to go deeper in my walk with God, I wanted to become intimate with him! I wanted to truly experience his love! I told God that I would do whatever it took to get where I need to be, he has to provide, but I will take the step. So I soon was informed about RBI. I instantly knew that that  is where God has called me to be. Soon after I was informed that I received a full scholarship and my pastor Rodney Howard Browne in Plant City found me a place to live for a great price!! God taught me then that he will always provide for me!

When I got here I was excited, but not sure what to expect. I was 10 hours away from home and the lifestyle that I had always known. Soon God showed me how to adapt. He became my best friend! He became the lover of my soul! He has overwhelmed me with blessings and wonders! Over and over he continues to touch me. Being a part of RBI I have already found so many things in my heart that need to go. Things that I never even noticed before; but God has revealed them to me. I have been touched by his fire, embraced by his presence, set free from dead religion, self-doubt and confusion. God has opened up so many doors for me and has blessed me with amazing people who are not afraid to correct me. I have fallen in love with the most Holy King; I have a new realization of his Word AND his Spirit…Kaitlyn S.

Rodney Howard Browne shows us that each service was another touch by God in the fire, burning more out and leaving me cleaner, fresher, freer and more joyous. Great Awakening Tours wants us to know that three hundred words are not near enough to describe the amazing experiences that I have been through since school began! I can only say that I don’t even recognize myself, and I am in awe of my God! I know He is real and that He loves me and desires to have an intimate relationship with me!

I am working on security and while on duty I pray in tongues the entire time. I am literally on fire and have such a heightened sense in the spiritual realm! Last night on duty the Holy Ghost had me zoned in on a certain woman all night. Rodney Howard Brown tells us that she got up to leave early and I felt the prompting to go after her. I left my post and went outside to catch her. I introduced myself to her and after talking with her found that she had planned to kill herself. I brought her back in and got a pastor to pray with her. She came back in to the service, and Pastor Rodney Howard Browne was walking around slowly praying for only a couple of individuals. I began to intercede for this woman in the spirit and prayed that the anointing would seek and find her. He only prayed for maybe 7 individuals that night and the 2nd to last one was her.

Rodney Howard Browne tells us that he came out from the front into the aisle and stood in front of her and gave a word of knowledge for her, telling her that God was aware of all that she was going through, etc. and then he laid hands on her! I was so overwhelmed at the glory of God that I ran to the back and began jumping up and down in joy and then he asked that I be brought to Him where he laid hands on me. Great Awakening Tours teaches us that God is so good. I feel like He wants me to know that He is moving in and through me.Rodney Howard Brown wants us to know that being effective in God’s hands is a miracle coming from my past! I am a new creature in Christ! I will never be the same again! I am sold out completely to Christ!

In Great Awakening Tours one morning, a few short weeks after I had been living here in Tampa, pressing in, and starting to attend services regularly at The River, my mom came to visit us. We were sitting in Sunday service, and a young lady came up on stage to give a testimony. Rodney Howard Brown tells us that she was talking about trusting God and sewing and reaping. She gave a two hundred dollar offering, and then the next morning the young girl went to check her mail. Great Awakening Tours shows that there, sitting in a blank white envelope – was double the amount of money she had given the day before.

I remember looking over at my mother’s face and seeing nothing but discouragement. I asked her what was wrong, and she simply replied with, “nothing like that ever happens to me.” I got to share with my mom about how I had been praying months before moving here for school, about the apartment and about my car. I told her all we had to do is believe, and receive. It was that easy. She listened, and we went home, nothing more was said. The next day, my mom was checking OUR mailbox, and in it, was not only a envelope from the bank for her, but envelopes for me, and my brother as well.

She sat down on the sofa, and slowly opened hers, handing me mine. Immediately I started laughing. God is so good. With tears rolling down my mom’s face, she read her check from the bank out loud, and in it was eight hundred dollars. Thank you Jesus! We both sat in the living room of our new place, laughing and crying. God’s love washed over me. Not even caring about opening the check, all I could do was thank Him – realizing and seeing everything that he has done for me. Holding the check in my hands was a wakeup call. Just to remember what he is doing daily, and to not become complacent or selfish. He promised us he was going to take care of us, and we have to try not to take things for granted. Great Awakening Tours wants us to know that when we were asked to write about what God has been doing in us since we got here for school, I have to say I was a bit at a loss. Not because God hasn’t been doing things in me, they just haven’t become concrete yet. I know for sure that this season is a season of demarcation in my life. From when God first called me out of California and the apathetic, backslidden life I had allowed myself to degenerate into, to this day, I can, in fact, see the fruit of this decision. Tonight Pastor Eric was giving an alter call and a sentence he spoke summed up my life in California exactly.

Rodney Howard Browne tells us that drinking, smoking pot, living in sensuality, and yet yearning constantly for God to change me. I knew all of those things were empty and futile, but I felt alone, had no community, no body of believers or even friends to spur me on to what was right. At every turn people were encouraging me down that road of self fulfillment, of instant gratification. Thanks be to God that He spoke clearly enough for me to hear Him in the state I was in to FLEE California. Great Awakening Tours shows that tThere were many acts of supernatural provision made by Him just to get me here. I had no idea, at all, what was in store for me. I had never even heard of Pastor Rodney Howard Brown or any of this ministry before my mom started watching in the early spring.  Frances H.

The  Great  Awakening  Tours Services  have  been  great.  I  have  been  walking  in  the  Call  Center  and  have  seen  people  healed  in  their  back, spine, asthma and many  more  things. Rodney Howard Brown tells us that  They  Call  in  Hungry,  they  call  in  to  get  saved.  I  have  learned  a  lot  of  stuff  being  here  in  R.B.I.  that  I  will  take  when  I  have  a  ministry.

Rodney Howard Browne says just  being  on  the  phones  is  an  amazing  time.  America  is  being  stirred  by  Revival  Fire’s,.  This  is  a  place  to  be  trained  up  and  launched  out.  I  remember  I  was  going  to  get  a  scholarship  to  go  play  football  and  then  the  Lord  told  me  there  is  more  for  you  then  this.  So  I  began  to  seek  the  Lord  and  then  I  got  a  Scholarship  to  come  here.

Rodney Howard Brown shows that the Lord  told  me  he  would  send  me  to  the  launching  pad  to  launch  me  into  Fulltime  ministry,  what  a  great  Ministry  to  be  apart  of.  Great Awakening Tours shows that revivalists  are  being  raised  up  to  go  out  and  shake  this  World  for  the  Glory  of  God,  and  to  think  I  am  privileged  to  be  apart  of  what  God  is  doing.  Wow  it  is  awesome. -Todd M

In the revival meetings this week I have seen many people get touched by the power of God. There were many testimonies of people encountering God on the phones in the call center. Rodney has been pouring out his passion for God over the airways for two weeks now with many people using the soul winning script and increasing the number of people who have prayed since the beginning of the Great Awakening Tours Broadcast to 10,225 as of this writing. I pray that the fire catches more and more as these weeks go by!

I have been enjoying playing music for worship this past week. Tonight’s song “Blessed” by Hillsong was awesome! “Hear our prayer oh Lord God Almighty, come bless our land as we seek you, worship you”. It was very appropriate and inspiring! I pray the prayer of this song is fulfilled! God bless America and bring her to her knees willingly before we all may be driven to our our knees in desperation as a result of calamity!

Rodney Howard Browne wants us to know that God’s Holy Spirit is available for the asking! Jesus said in Luke 11:11-15 “If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (KJV)” So in accordance with this scripture, let us trust God to receive the gift of his spirit which is his promise to us and live our lives before God with him as the head and we will have a Great Awakening Tours ! -Dennis M.
